Rehabiltation management of children with mental and physical disabilities and the role of parents

In search, it is aimed that how parents are participated to the programme of rehabilitation and education of children with mental and phisical disabilities. Study group of this search is parents of children with mental and phisical disabilities who are members of " Özel İlkadımlar Rehabilitation Center". How they affect this process. in our search, questionaire is done eith with parents of children with mental and phisical disabilities. In this questionaire which is done to specificate the situation of participation the parents of children with mental and phisical disabilities, there are totally 27 questions. 11 questions for social and demographic information and 16 questions for how parents participated to the education and rehabilitation process. After the process of gaining permission , the questionaire forms are delivered to 70 fathers and 105 mothers , totally 175 people who want to join this study. all forms are collected completed and datum which are transfered to computer area, analysed and considered. As result, the hypothesis of " participation of the rehabilitation education of the parents of children with mental and phisical disabilities is high " is supported.
