Searching the level of using educational technologies and materials in the point of various variables of the physical training teachers employed in Zonguldak province

The aim of this research is to search the levels of using the educational Technologies and materials in the point of age, gender, seniority, inservice training variables of the physical training teachers working in Zonguldak province.162 (32 female, 130 male) permanent physical training teachers who work in Zonguldak province in 2007 ? 2008 academic year has participated this research.In data collecting form there has been four items for their personal information and twelve items for their using educational technologies and materials.In the analyzing of the collected datas frequency (f) and percentage values (%) has been utilized. Also in the analyzing of the data, chi-square (X2) technique has been utilized. Meaningfulness rank has been determined as p < 0.05.A significant difference has been found between the participant physical education teachers? age variable and their using board (p<0.01), video (p<0.05), computer (p<0.05), cd/video casette related to physical training lessons (p<0.01), tape recorder (p<0.01). There hasn?t been found a difference between other educational technologies and materials.A significant difference has been found between the participant physical education teachers? gender variable and their using video camera (p<0.05), source books (p<0.01), magazine (p<0.05). There hasn?t been found a difference between other educational technologies and materials.A significant difference has been found between the participant physical education teachers? seniority variable and their using computer (p<0.01), internet (p<0.01), cd/video casette (p<0.01) related to physical training lessons, scale models related to physical training lessons. There hasn?t been found a difference between other educational technologies and materials.A significant difference has been found between the participant physical education teachers? inservice training variable and their using board (p<0.01), computer (p<0.01), internet (p<0.01), cd/video casette related to physical training lessons (p<0.01), source book (p<0.01). There hasn?t been found a difference between other educational technologies and materials.Physical training teacher?s age, seniority, gender and inservice trainings should be taken into consideration while encouraging them to use educational Technologies and materials.
