Abstract (EN)

ABSTRACTThis research deals with the reasons why the girls in the obligatory education agedon?t go to school. The research has been done up to the ?survey? model. The researchconsists of 200 girls and 202 protectors who are reached in Şırnak, Cizre, Silopi, Beytüşebabtown in 2005-2006 years. Sample; the containing of research consists the group of sample inthe same time.Thanks to the important results of research it is understood that girls don?t go to schoolbecause of economical impossibilities and since the protectors don?t send them to the school.Beside this, growing of girls can be shown as reason for the protectors not sending the girls tothe school.The girls learning, reading and writing is seen enough and so the girls aren?t allowedto go on school. The boys are given priority in the education but girls? helping their mothersat home is seen more important than going school. The research contains the evaluation whichdeals with reasons of girls not going to school.
