Abstract (EN)
The probability of damage to vehicles after a traffic accident is quite high due to the normal flow of life. The decrease in the market value of the vehicle before the accident due to the repair of the damage after the accident indicates the loss of value in the vehicle. In determining the loss of value, matters such as accident reports, pictures of the damage of the vehicle, pictures after the repair of the damage, the place where the repair was made, the parts use dare important. Inpractice, Depreciation calculations are made by experts and experts because they require technical knowledge. The aim of this study is to examine the depreciation in all its dimensions and to evaluate the legal changes in Turkey regarding Depreciation and the problems seen in practice. In the study, which was prepared as a literature review, it was aimed to contribute to the literature by including the current Supreme Court decisions and practices. In the study, the change that emerged with the decision of the Constitutional Court No. 2020/40 on the calculation of the Depreciation was examined in detailand as a result, suggestions were made to solve the problems in practice.
