Mythological elements in the divans of Avnî, Adlî and Cem Sultan, among the 15th century sultan poets

"15. In this study titled "Mythological Elements in the Divans of Avnî, Adlî and Cem Sultan, One of the 21st Century Sultan Poets", it is aimed to identify the mythological elements in the divans of Avnî, Adlî and Cem Sultan, one of the important sultan poets of classical Turkish literature. One of the most important sources of classical Turkish literature is mythology. Classical Turkish literature has been influenced by many mythologies in the world, especially Persian and Turkish mythologies. All the richness of these mythologies was used as a resource and an artistic language was created based on them. In addition, the mythical narratives that societies created around various sacred concepts and personalities further increased the influence of mythology on classical Turkish literature. Therefore, the influence of mythological elements in classical Turkish literature works is quite high. In the discussion, first of all, information will be given about the lives and literary personalities of the three poets, then the relationship between literature-classical Turkish literature and mythology will be explained, and then the mythological elements in the divans in question will be identified. During the determination, firstly the mythological elements will be explained and then the usage of these elements in the determined divans will be stated. The determined mythological elements are named "Religious figures, historical-legendary persons, Persian origin figures, famous story heroes, cosmic elements, mythological animals, myths formed around animals, myths formed around plants, mythological places, anâsır-ı erbaa, myths formed around stones". will be titled below. Examples from divans will be given for each mythological element identified, and similar examples will be shown in the footnotes along with the poem and couplet numbers. Finally, numerical data related to the mythological elements found will be tabulated in Annex 1.
