The economical and social state of Konya Karapınar`s (Sultaniye) streets according to the Tax books of 1845 (1261)

VI ABSTRACT Through the political in the Ottoman empire some part of taxes which had been collected under different names and in different mannerrs were gathered together, regarding the justice system, some arrangements intaxes were arried out according to payment capacity and people's gain.By making enumerations that define the whole possession and income of families tax on profits was put based on these counts. Tax books that came into existence as a result of andysis give us some numerical data bearing important information about the socio-economic state of the period in places where political reforms were applied. In Premiership Ottoman Archives, in tax- books wich served for researchers, the responsibles agriculture, job, art incomes and possesion were registered. In addition much information about agricultural and economic production, streets, population density, income distribution and social wellfare is found.
