Abstract (EN)
From 1923 to 2018, 65 governments were established in 95 years of our democracy history. With a simple calculation, the average life expectancy of a government is one year and five months in our country. As can be understood from this, there are a lot of unstable periods in our country. The treacherous coup attempt that took place on July 15, 2016, also showed us, the tradition of this coup will not end until the guardianship is thrown out of the veins of the system. The coupled power did not provide the political and economic stability which is needed by the country. With the Constitutional amendment made in 2017, the system of the Presidential Government which is called Turkish Presidency Government System was passed from the parliamentary government system from 2018 June. At this point, tutelage, political and economic instability, and duality in execution will be eliminated. This study is a comparison of the Presidential Government System, which was overcome with the amendment of the Constitution, with the Presidency System applied in the USA
