Gaziantep deputies and assembly activities between 1983-1991 (XVII. and XVIII. period)

This work is about the parliamentary activities of Gaziantep deputies between 1983-1991 (XVII. and XVIII. Period). The lives of the deputies, their parliamentary activities, their parliamentary speeches and their activities outside the parliament are included in the study. In the introduction part of the thesis, the history of Gaziantep; it's old names, it's place in the prehistoric period, the struggle it gave during the War of Independence are mentioned and information about Gaziantep is given in terms of geography, economy, culture and demographics. The thesis consists of two parts. In the first part, information about the 1983 general elections and the subsequent information about the XVII. term Gaziantep deputies are ıncluded. As the XVII. term Gaziantep deputies; Ahmet Ata Aksu, Mustafa Rüştü Taşar, Ünal Yaşar, Mehmet Hayri Osmanlıoğlu, Süleyman Koyuncugil, Feyzullah Yıldırır, Galip Deniz, Hasan Celal Güzel took place. In the second section, information about the 1987 general elections and the subsequent information about the XVIII. term Gaziantep deputies are included. The XVIII. term Gaziantep deputies are; Hasan Celal Güzel, Ahmet Günebakan, Hasan Tanrıöver, Mehmet Akdemir, Mustafa Hikmet Çelebi, Ünal Yaşar, Abdulkadir Ateş, Mustafa Yılmaz. Hasan Celal Güzel and Ünal Yaşar are included in both sections because they were elected as deputies in both terms. During the research process, TBMM Album, TBMM Minutes Journal, National Thesis Center were the priority for sources. Books, theses, articles, newspapers and internet sources were used in the thesis. As much as possible, an attempt has been made to obtain information from various sources, provided that it is accurate. In order to set a good example for those who will work deputies from now on, it was taken into consideration that the thesis be written in the light of objective, understandable and accurate information.
