Abstract (EN)

Social knowledge is a simplified form of social sciences that reduced to the primanyschool?s level. Social knowledge analyses all the facts and events formed as a result of humanintervention. In short, ıts scope is as extensive and profound as human and ıts reasons andconsequences are as complex as human. This complexity is a part of human life. We face tensof problems in our daily lives. While solving these problems we need new methods andtechniques, because we live in a condensed and reduced world as a result of the developmentin science and technology. Social knowledge is a subject that excerpts the changing world tothe new generations in a systematic way. History is a social science and it aims to teach thegenerations about ther national culture, comprehend the importance of their own. Cultureamong the worlds. Civilizations teach what the politic changes and their reflections to thecontemporary are.In this research a library study had been done, and the matter was examined by usingthe scientific methods after collecting the main resources. By adding interpretations to thefindings we tried to get the truth, and we made a review of social knowledge historycurriculum.According to the proved criterion. The base deficiencies in social knowledge historycurriculum are determined as; not paying attention to the choronology, incomprehensibility ofterms used in books over level subject, and considering the cultural history apart frompolitical history. n addition the insufficiency of period needed to carry out the modernteaching methods is an other incapacity.Key Words: Social knowledge, history, curriculum, choronology.
