Abstract (EN)

Intense environmental problems experienced all over the world and in Turkiye have pushed people to new searches. Especially the wastes that arise in the production processes and the consumed natural resources have reached the point of making the world unlivable day by day. Therefore, people have started to switch to sustainable green marketing practices, which is a more effective resource use and environmental model. This problem itself causes both companies and governments to look for solutions. In the world, movements such as ecology movements, nature lovers, movements to combat climate change and the greens movement exist in the political climate. During this period, when the intense environmental problem deepens and affects the current political climate, new production areas have emerged. These production areas are shaped by recyclable goods in the world and cause societies that react to the environmental problem to turn to these marketed products. In this study, the concepts of sustainability and green marketing were examined and their applications in the world and in Turkiye were examined. In addition, the question of how sustainable green marketing practices affect the Turkish economy has also been tried to be answered. In this framework, sustainable development reports, water and wastewater statistics, solid waste statistics, greenhouse gas emission reports and environmental protection expenditure reports of the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUİK) were examined. In our review, the results of the Normality of Kolmogorov-Smirnov, calculating of Correlation Coefficients, ADF and PP Unit Root Test, ECM (Error Correction Model), VAR Analysis, Johansen Cointegration Test, Granger Causality Analysis were evaluated. In our study, the significance values of the existing reports were examined as a result of SPSS analyses.
