Abstract (EN)

The aim of this study is to compare the maturation rates of oocytes collected in patients with low, normal and high ovarian reserve according to the Poseidon classification who underwent IVF in the IVF clinic of Harran University Faculty of Medicine between 2017-2022. This cross-sectional study included women between the ages of 18 and 40 who underwent IVF treatment between 2017 and 2022. Antral follicle count (AFC), AMH values, oocyte maturation, total oocyte counts, FSH, LH, TSH and estradiol levels were recorded. The mean age of the participants is 30.70, the mean BMI is 26.61, and the mean AMH values are 3.29 ng/ml, and mean AFC values are 3.47. 22% of the participants had low, 46.1% medium, 31.9% high ovarian reserve. The mean age of women with low ovarian reserve is significantly higher. Women with low ovarian reserve have higher FSH and E2 averages and drug doses used. Means of total oocyte, M1, M2 and GV oocyte counts are significantly lower in women with low ovarian reserve. As the cracking needle, Ovitrelle was used in 81.6% of the participants, Gonapeptly in 17.8% and Ovitrelle+Gonapeptly in 0.6% of the participants. The mean total oocyte count, M1, M2 anSd GV oocyte counts were higher in the gonapeptly used group. 50.3% of all participants received vitamin support. It was observed that with increasing age, the AMH value decreased and the total, M1, M2 and GV oocyte numbers decreased. It was observed that 67.3% of total oocytes in women with low ovarian reserve, 66.9% of total oocytes in women with medium ovarian reserve, and 67.3% of total oocytes in women with high ovarian reserve mature into metaphase 2 oocytes. There is a relationship between ovarian reserve and oocyte count, but maturation rates were similar. It is important to investigate the relationship between ovarian reserve and oocyte maturation in larger populations and with different treatment applications in future studies, in order to support our findings. Key words: Anti-mullerian hormone, in vitro fertilization, ovarian reserve.
