The Mühimme book of numbered 23 and 1573-1574 dated/ p. 156-220 (Abtract-transcription-index)

Political, military, civil, legal, economic and all kinds of issues are discussed and decided in Divan-ı Hümayun (Ottoman Supreme Court) which is the most important decision-making organ in the Ottoman Empire. These decisions were recorded in books called Divan-ı Hümayun books. Mühimme (Chief) book is the most important book series in Divan-ı Hümayun catalog. Chief books are books on which important topics discussed in the Ottoman Supreme Court are recorded, and have the feature of relating to many research fields as regards their contents. Transcription, summaries and descriptions in 149 provisions between pages 156 -220 of 22nd Chief book are done. The entire book is dated 1573-1574. The part we work covers the provisions of 1573 year. Our work includes topics especially the murder activities, such as the construction and repair of some monuments, the provision of Istanbul and the army, the appointments of some sancak beys (flag officers), the preservation of the towns and cities, the strengthening of the dynasty, and cadi (muslim judge) decisions.
