Abstract (EN)
Aim of the current study is to examine the relationships between sixth graders' self-regulated learning strategies and their attitudes towards English and their achievement in this course. 318 students from different schools in Afyonkarahisar, Turkey attended this study as sample group. Frequencies, percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test, Pearson moment correlations, one-way ANOVA and two-way ANOVA tests were used to analyze the data. According to the findings, there is a significant difference between self-regulated learning strategies in terms of gender. A positive and significant relationship between self-regulated learning strategies and their English achievement is found in the study. A positive and significant relationship is also found between their attitudes towards English and self-regulated learning strategies. In terms of their English attitudes, there is a significant difference among their self-regulated learning strategies.
