Application of Occupational Health and Safety Law Number 6331 on the field (Erzurum Sugar Factory example)

Purpose: The research is planned to work on the implementation of the occupational health and safety law No. 6331 by the employees, the identification of the deficiencies and the solutions of the problems enNered. Method: The research was carried out in Erzurum Sugar Factory. The universe of the study consisted of 240 factory employees. The sample of the study consisted of 42 factory employees who accepted to work voluntarily. The data collection tool consisted of 35 questions. In the analysis of data, SPSS program and Chi-Square test were used. Findings: It was determined that most of the employees who participated in the study were experienced employees and as a result of this, it was determined that the OHS rules were better and better than other facilities in the sector. Result: It was understood that the employees who participated in the study had knowledge about the Law No. 6331 and related regulations. It has been determined that there are many deficiencies in OHS training, obeying rules, danger and risks, occupational accidents and occupational diseases and health checks.
