Abstract (EN)
The documents recorded in which the political, military and social decisions taken in the Divan-ı Hümayun, one of the most important institutions of the Ottoman Empire, are called "Mühimme Books". We come across the first examples of these notebooks, which shed light on the Ottoman bureaucracy, in the 16th century. Archive sources provides us the most reliable information in Ottoman history research. Mühimme Books are among the most important of these sources. In these books, we can find information about the manner of rule of the state, the central, military and provincial organization, the preparations for the expedition, the legal issues arising among the people and the provision of subsistence. In our study, the transcription, summary and evaluation of the provisions numbered 1-60 between pages 1-32 of Mühimme Notebook No. 932 and dated 1570 were made.
