Abstract (EN)
In this study, we will discuss American foreign policy toward the current Syrian crisis, since the start of popular protests against the Syrian regime, what are the attitudes and decisions taken by the American administration in order to stop the fighting and the imposition of a political solution. Will also be in this study discuss the role and place of Turkey in the Syrian crisis, the current terms of the American position oscillating towards what is happening in Syria killings of civilians and the destruction of dozens of Syrian cities, at a time when Turkey is betting where the position of the American firmer against the regime of Bashar al-Assad. In this study, we will take a light on Turkey's place in American foreign policy and how it was reneging on promises and words that were repeated by President Barack Obama to hand the departure of Bashar al-Assad from power and how it fell and left Turkey blown harbingers of the Syrian crisis.
