Abstract (EN)
This study has been conducted through the foundation (ground) excavation of the AYAS Thermal Reactor construction at Adana-Yumurtalik region. The evaluation of jeomechanical parameters of filling made at coal stock area and Stacker Reclaimer for east region of working zone is planned.The filling used is clay stone belonging to Kizildere Formation. In the first stage some laboratory study is performed. According to the laboratory analysis, 200 sand cones and 457 plate loading tests were applied to determine the compressibility and strength of the filling. Then, empirical equations were derived for plate loading tests by using statistical analysis. They are used to find out the relation between ks (number of layers) and EV1 (first loading modulus).Key Words: Kızıldere, AYAS, Plate Loading, Sand Cone, Regressions
