Abstract (EN)

The aim of this study is to investigate the effect of 8-week badminton training on the attention level of adolescent badminton players. A total of 40 badminton players, including 20 licensed experimental groups and 20 licensed control groups, participated in the research voluntarily. Athletes in the experimental group were given badminton focusing (target) training for 8 weeks, 3 days a week, and only general badminton training was given to the control group. In the study, the effect of badminton training for 8 weeks was investigated according to the pre-test and post-test results of the attention level performances of the athletes. SPSS 26 package program was used in the analysis of the data. In analysis; Paired Samples t-test was used to determine the differences between arithmetic mean, standard deviation and pre-test and post-test results. As a result of the analysis, while there was a proportional difference in the direction of development in attention level values, no statistically significant differences (p<0.05) could be detected. As a result, it can be said that 8-week badminton focusing training positively affects the development of attention level in adolescent badminton players.
