Abstract (EN)

SUMMARY Mount Ağı and its environs as our study area is placed on the state of Çanakkale-Çan and is included in the between Mediterranean and Euro-Siberian phytogeographical region from the plant geographical point of view. According to the Turkish grid square system, it lies in Bl square. Approximately, 900 plant specimens were collected. After identification of these specimens, total flora has been determinated as 518 taxa at spesific and subspesific ranks belonging to 300 genera and 93 families. Of the 518 taxa, 1 taxon is (0.19 %) Equisetophyta, 10 taxa (1.93 %) are Polypodiophyta, 5 taxa (0.97 %) are Pinophyta and 502 taxa (96.91 %) are Magnoliophyta. 1 taxon of Magnoliophyta are included in MagnoHopsida, 115 taxa are included in Liliopsida, 22 taxa are included Ranunculopsida and 363 taxa are included in Rosopsida. Mount Ağı takes parts between Mediterranean and Euro-Siberian phytogeographical region. The phytogeographical spectrums of species are as follows; Mediterranean elements 122 taxa (23.55 %), Euro-Siberian elements 88 taxa (16.99 %), East Mediterranean elements 61 taxa (11.78 %), Euxine elements 8 taxa (1.54 %), Irano-Turanian elements 6 taxa (1.16 %), widespread 76 taxa (14.67 %) and cosmopolitan 12 taxa (2.32 %). 17 endemic plant taxa were determinated in the flora of Mount Ağı. Among the determinated endemic plant taxa, 12 taxa are lower risk and least concern, 1 taxon is lower risk and near threatened, 3 taxa are vulnerable plants and 1 taxon is endangered. 114
