Abstract (EN)
We can consider the art of writing as one of the oldest fabric ornamental arts. The art of writing ex perienced its brightest times in our country between the 17th and 19th century. Research with printed sources and on-side masters shows that we have not shown the attention and love that this art deserves. Writing has become one of the forgotten arts due to the advancement of technology and difficulty in making it, which was born in our country as folk art. The art of writing carries a cultural heritage on its shoulders. Local textures, fabrics and writing masters who placed the lifestyle in writing allowed us to obtain a kind of history book. While writing is being investigated, the magical World of applied patterns and colors draws you in. As you enter it, it becomes noticeable that this field has no end. Writing is a World that excites man's desire to produce and design. In this research; it has been seen how the slapstick region embraces this art. It is aimed to transform the patterns used in the Tokat region into drawings and to be applied in digital format on textile design products, to be ideas, inspirations and sources to other people.
