Wording in Ahmed Arif's poems

Ahmed Arif, is important representative of forty- generation and socialist realist poem, sincerely treats emotions and idea of the public by kneading with like and hope, hence he has exceptional place in Turkish poem. Because of his meticulous attitude, he moves at short and concise writing manner, when he is alive, he writes only "Hasretinden prangalar Eskittim" that includes 19 poems, in that he creates his own original view, from his time to now, he succeeds to be a good poet who is liked, drew interest, read much by both the public and art community. Because of that reason, true understanding of Ahmed Arif's poems are very important to properly understand forty-generation, socaialist realist and also the republic period Turkish poems. In this study, "Hasretinden Prangalar Eskittim", includes 19 poems, which is ahmed arif's only book, is analyzed with; as scope, macro style examination method, as content, method of depiction style analyzing. First of all, the poems are examined with three different angles such as language, content and art; then all of them are particularly examined by dividing into subgroup within themselves. In terms of language, sound, word, word group, sentence and general language use; structure, in terms of quality and quantity; in terms of art, shape, rythym, harmony; in terms of matching and deviations; in terms of content, subject, theme, image, motif and in term of connotation are discussed, the connection between the subject which he uses in his poems and events in his life is dwell on. Thus, it is aimed to contribute to understand Ahmed arif poem, forty generation, sociaslist realist, also partially the Republic Period Turkish poem and be source for researcing on this area.
