Review and analysis on Ahmed Şihâbuddîn el-Hekkârî and his work called el-Akdu'l-Ğâlî fî Halli İşkâlî Sahîhi'l Buhârî

The religion of Islam has continued to exist in this region in a dominant way throughout history. Hakkari province has brought famous scholars to the Islamic world. Scholars, who have been scattered to various scientifically developed provinces of the world from this region, have made important contributions to the scientific tradition with their works. One of these scholars is Ahmed Şihâbuddin al-Hekkârî. He received knowledge in many centers of science, especially in Egypt, and gained the reputation of having his name written in the strata books. The works named Tefsîru'l-Hekkârî, Ricalu's-Süneni'l-Erbaa, Ricalu's-Sahîheyn and el-Akdu'l-Ğâlî are valuable copyrights that al-Hekkârî left us. Although there is no definite information about the date of birth of Ahmed al-Hekkârî, it is thought that he was born between the years 690-703. Sources in the field literature unanimously reported that he died in 763. There are two copies of his work called al-Akdu'l-Ğâlî, which we discussed in our research, one in the Riyadh library and the other in the Paris library, and no study has been done on it. Although the work is perceived as a commentary on Bukhari, in this work, the author has explained the words of Bukhari (256/870) that are difficult and complex. In this study, the history of Hakkari was briefly discussed, the scholars and hadithists who grew up in Hakkari were introduced, and the political and cultural situation in the age of Ahmed Şihâbuddîn al-Hekkârî was examined. Later, Ahmed Şihâbuddîn al-Hekkârî's life, scientific personality and works are discussed. Finally, the review and analysis of Şihâbuddîn al-Hekkârî's work named el-Akdu'l-Ğâlî was made.
