Abstract (EN)

Today, commercial companies can compete with their rivals by creating useful and reliable e-commerce sites and adapting to online platforms. Created e- commerce sites are preferred to the extent that they respond to user needs and demands. In the study, an AHP-based decision support system, one of the multi- criteria decision-making methods, was designed to select the best e-commerce site according to user preferences. For this purpose, the 4 e-commerce sites with the highest user traffic were evaluated with 5 main and 27 sub-criteria and a preference ranking was found. With the designed decision support system, it was analyzed which features should be on the e-commerce site, which criteria the users care more about and what should be taken into consideration when creating an e-commerce site. In the study, the preference rankings of the sites were found as a result of the AHP-based evaluation. The EC1 site was determined as the optimum e-commerce site. When we examined the results, it was seen that users mostly care about the criteria such as fast opening of the page, presence of an SSL certificate, responsiveness of the website and availability of Application when choosing a site.
