Effects of families? socio economic condition on the future expectations of the students in vocational high schools

This thesis is prepared so as to analyse the factors that determine the future expectations of the students and to find out to what extent does the socio-economic condition of the family effect their expectations. A response for the question ?Through what the future expectation of the students is set and shaped? is searched along the thesis. Factors in question can be listed as, gender, age, class, school, attendeded and the field, studied. While growing up their children, families should be aware of their socioeconomic condition and they should choose the school accordingly. The child should know or get help to know his socio economic situation, his interest and capability while determining his future or expecting something from his future. It can be possible to lead a happy and healty life, only if the future is planned beforehand. In this study it will be examined whether the students have planned their future or not; and their socioeconomic situation will be examined from the point of the students? view in Bayrampaşa İnönü Industrial School if they have planned their future. And the effect of families? socioeconomic condition on the students? future expectation in vocational High Schools will be revealed, and the results will be reviewed.Key words: Family, Socioeconomic Condition of the Family, Future Expectations of the Students in Vocational High Schools
