Examination of the relations between academicians' organizational trust levels and organizational citizenship behavior

This study of the relationships between organizational trust and organizational citizenship behavior through Firat University faculty members was conducted. The research is in the relational screening model. The universe of the research is composed of 2105 academic staff working at Fırat University. The sample group was made up of 337 academic n done selected by the easy sampling method. After the necessary permissions were obtained from the relevant institution, the questionnaires were applied by the researcher to the volunteer participants using the face-to-face interview technique. The data were collected using the "Organizational Trust Scale" and the "Organizational Citizenship Behavior Scale". In the analysis of the data, percentage and frequency statistics were used to determine the descriptive characteristics of the sample group, and average and n done deviation statistics were used to determine the organizational trust and organizational citizenship behavior levels. Deciphering the relationship between variables; after correlation analysis, independent t-test n done-way analysis of variance were used to determine the organizational trust and organizational citizenship behavior levels of the sample group according to the descriptive characteristics. As a result of research, the level of organizational citizenship behavior of academics Firat University higher levels of organizational trust, organizational trust levels with a significant positive directional relationship between the level of organizational citizenship behavior was observed.
