Abstract (EN)

If we ask what system is better in aquaculture; fish growth, plant growth, nutrient values and other water quality parameters can be used as fitness indicators. This study was carried out to compare two different hydroponic systems and to determine which would be more suitable for curly lettuce growing. In this context, curly lettuce (Lactuca sativa) was cultivated in gravel and raft systems. Nil Tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus) was used in the experiment at a rate of 15 kg/m3. The curly lettuce fidelity is 203.84 gr/m2 in both systems. At the end of the experiment, the growth of lettuce produced in the raft system was found to be higher than the gravel system (p<0.05). However, it has been found that high air temperature directs lettuce growth towards seed formation and increases leaf length. As a result, it has been determined that in both systems, closed-loop fish farming culture can be used easily in curly lettuce culture. It has been observed that these systems, which are used without biological filters, do not have a negative effect on fish growth and fish health, that fish perform well in feed consumption and that additional crops can be obtained by plant growth. However, it has been concluded that quality seedlings should be considered for the plants to be produced and that the weather conditions should be in harmony with the growth conditions of the plant.
