Abstract (EN)

From the cost-oriented mass production approach of the past; we have come to a differentiated, authentic era with high added value which speaks to the individual and in which the ability to provide innovative product/services came into prominence with era of the global competition and changing customer expectations. Also, it is expected that each product definitely should be respectful to the environmental sensibility and societal values. Meeting the expectations in question is definitely directly related to the employees and their behaviors. From this point of view, counterproductive work behaviors which can prevent the businesses from dealing with the difficult conditions in question are designated as the research problem. Also, the relationship between the leadership style (instrumental leadership, participative leadership and supportive leadership) and counterproductive work behaviors (towards the individual, towards the ownership and towards the work) and the role of the organization culture (internal maintenance culture and external positioning culture) in this relationship, and whether it is possible to decrease the counterproductive work behaviors via those variables are researched in this study. Turkish Logistics Industry has been chosen as the study field and findings has been obtained via quantitative methods from the data that was obtained from 325 participants who work in 26 different logistics businesses that work in this field. According to the findings of the research, it has been observed that some leadership styles are effective in decreasing the counterproductive work behaviors and some organization cultures play a regulatory role in decreasing those kinds of behaviors. According to the findings that are obtained, it has been concluded that the leadership styles affect the occurrence and decline of the counterproductive work behaviors and the organization culture has a role in this relationship. It is suggested that, in the works that the organizations will conduct in order to decrease the counterproductive work behaviors, they should focus on the leadership styles and organization culture, and that they can reach their goal easier with those parameters. Key Words: Leadership, counterproductive work behaviors, organizational culture.
