Alhilla şehir hastanelerinde hemşirelerin COVİD 19'a yönelik bilgilerinin değerlendirilmesi

This research aims to assess nurses' knowledge of COVID-19 and the relationship between nurses' knowledge of COVID-19 and demographic characteristics (age, gender, educational level, residence, and marital status). A cross-sectional, descriptive study was conducted in 3 hospitals in Hilla, Iraq, from 10.03.2022 to 30.05.2022. the study sample included nurses in hospitals who were selected using non-probability samples (appropriate sample). The sample size was limited to at least 200 nurses who collected face-to-face data, a "personal information form" and "information about COVID-19" for data collection. age of the participants was 33.69±13.32 it was determined that 42.5% of nurses are aged 20-25 years, 51.5% are women and 48% are nursing school graduates, 77.5% of nurses have ≤5 experience, and 76% are nurses trained in end-of-life care. infected with COVID-19. A statistically significant relationship was determined between age, educational level and knowledge scores, P<0.05. The study also showed a correlation between infection with COVID-19 infection and knowledge scores P<0.05. A positive, statistically significant relationship was determined between knowledge, data, age, educational level and training. There is a significant relationship between attitudes towards COVID-19. There is a statistically significant relationship between sex, infected with COVID-19 and attitudes towards COVID 19, P<0.05. It is necessary to increase training courses for nurses on infectious diseases, and this study recommends the owners of the Ministry of Health and decision makers to increase the use of infection prevention methods in hospitals.
