Abstract (EN)

In this study, the meaning carried by the Kalima-i Tawhid, accepted as the axis of Islam, will be examined, and the different interpretations and opinions of Islamic scholars regarding the classification of the traditions narretedfrom the Prophet Muhammad (Pbuh) as faith, actions, and the price of paradise will be determined. In this regard, the narrated traditions will first be analyzed within the framework of the rules of hadith methodology in terms of the authenticity of the isnad. Additionally, the differences and similarities in the content of the traditions will be compared and subjected to a comparative evaluation with corroborating hadiths. Subsequently, the reflections of the beliefs and counter-beliefs caused by the traditions related to the subject matter in tafsir, figh and aqidah boks will be determined. Moreover, since the narrated traditions are used as evidence for beliefs about the nature of faith, the study aims to present a synthesis by taking into account the theses and anti-thesies, especially on the knowledge, affirmation, declaration, and action dimensions of faith. In the main part of the study, the hadits related to the subject were analysed using the qualitative methods of isnad, text and historical context analysis. The authenticity of the isnad and narrators was determined based on the evaluations of the muhaddith scholars. As a result of these determinations, it was found that the related traditions of the hadith were narrated by ten companios and two tabi'in. Nine of the narrations were narrated with sahih isnad and three with hasan li-gayrihi isnad. Moreover, in determining these findings, the basic tabaqat, rijal, and printed hadiths of the first three centuries of Hijri were used as primary sources. The hadith stating that whoever says the Kalima-i Tawhid will enter paradise has also contributed to the nature of faith. In our research, the reflections of these beliefs in tafsir, fiqh and usul al-figh books were determined. Furthermore, by considering the different theses and anti theses on this subject, it was concluted that the view that faith is a process that beings with the heart's affirmation and extends to speech and action is more accurate.
