Abstract (EN)

In this study, gold sample was obtained from Koza Gold Operation Company Ovacik Mine. In the biooxidation experiments, samples prepared in different solid ratios were poured into the medium containing iron and without iron and bacteria mutated by ultraviolet irradiation was used. Also, a pure mesophilic bacterium (Acidithiobacillus ferrooxidans) was used in order to oxidation of the gold ore. In these tests, dissolution of iron recovery was determined. It was observed that oxidation performance of mesophilic bacteria was better at the lower pulp densities. The results of the biooxidation tests conducted in the medium containing iron were better than that of the biooxidation tests which did not contain iron in the solution. Better results were obtained, when a pure bacteria mutated by ultraviolet irradiation used in the biooxidation tests. The best experimental results were determined as 10 minutes for ultraviolet radiation time, 1% for solid and dissolution recovery of the iron in the solution containing iron was calculated as 99.17 % in the FeTSB solid medium.
