Abstract (EN)

This study aims to investigate the effect of dynamic core trainings applied to turkish amateur league football players on shoot speed. The footballers (n = 22) participating in the study were divided into two groups by using the random sampling method as follows: 11 footballers were assigned to the dynamic core group (DCG) (age: 21.00 ± 2.19) yearsand 11 footballers were assigned to the control group (CG) (age: 26.55 ± 5.00) years. Shot speed and shot hit measurements were taken from the athletes before the training, at the end of the 6th week of the training, as a post-test. SPSS 22 software package program was used for the statistical analysis of the obtained data. Intra-group analyses of the effect of training were conducted by using the Paired Simple T test; the inter-group analyses were conducted by using the multivariate Independent Simple T test, and the level of significance was accepted as (p<0,05). As a result, it has been determined that the effect of the additional core training applied to the football players on the shot speed is on the average, and it has an effect on the shot hit.
