Abstract (EN)

With the development of technology, the use of digital images is increasing rapidly. Especially with the diversification of social networks, people share many photos and videos of themselves and others on media sites. The use of videos, especially on social media, and the fact that third parties access these videos in a very short way, have led to the malicious use of videos and the increase in cyber crimes. Therefore, the malicious use of digital images (threat, blackmail, violation of privacy, etc.) significantly affects people's relations with other people, human-state relations and the relations of states with each other. Today, people use various digital cameras to record people's lives, special moments, the subjects they find valuable in their environment, and also to provide security. These cameras are highly preferred because they are easy to use and to store the recorded images in computer or digital media. However, since these cameras can also be used to commit crimes, the detection of the suspect camera recording the digital image in forensic events is of great importance. In this thesis, using Amped Authenticate software, investigations will be made on the detection of the digital camera from which the criminal image is obtained in forensic events. For this reason, it is of great importance to detect the suspect camera from which the digital image is taken, which is the subject of the crime, in studies for the detection of the criminal in forensic incidents and the clarification of the incident that is the subject of the crime.
