Abstract (EN)
In this documentary film, it is aimed to be indicated what founding a modern art museum in this area and getting the old and the new together in Odunpazarı which is the historical town of Eskişehir known as one of the oldest cities of Anatolia means for the region. In this context, firstly, meerschaum processing which is one of the oldest arts of the city is described by the artisan Erol Güler in order to reflect the traditional and historical structure of Odunpazarı that hosts Modern Museum founded by the businessman and architect Erol Tabanca. Next, the information given by Deniz Bayrakçı who is the instructional director of the museum is recorded. Finally, the evaluations of Hakan Öncü that is the manager of tourism department of Eskişehir municipality are reflected. To sum up, the contribution of the museum to the region's vision and the effort for the cultural improvement of our country made by Eskişehir which is an education, art and culture city are observed. After the theoretical part; the information about poster work of the film, backstage images, the budget and the tag of the film is given. In the conclusion part, the narration of the purpose of existence of a contemporary structure and contributions to the region in the point of this documentary, the working period and the aim of the thesis are briefly summarized.
