The analysis of the Anatolian high school teachers' level of accepting duties related to guidance services in the regulation according to some variables

This research was carried out in order to analyze Anatolian High school teachers' level of accepting the duties related to guidance services in the regulation according to some variables.It contains whole Anatolian High School teachers in Afyon in 2013-2014 Educational year but the scale was applied by 204 teachers. The data related to this research was obtained by using "Personal Information Form" and The Duty Acceptance Scale (Gür, 2010)"In the first part of the scale there are questions about personal information and in the second part there are 11 attitude expressions related to the duty acceptance.This scale was composed of 3 subscales; "Cooperation with School Psychological Counselors"; "Planning and Practice"; "Educational And Vocational Guidance". The data obtained from this scale was analyzed by using the SPSS programme.In the first part of the scale,frequency and percentage distributions were used to analyze the related datas;in order to define students'attitudes and perceptions arithmetic mean(normal frequency curve) and standard deviation were used;to state the attitude differences between two groups, t test and Mann Whitney U test were used and also to compare more than 2 variant groups, one way variance analysis (ANOVA) and Kruskal Wallis-H test were used.It was tested that whether there was a significant difference among the views in the level of significance α=0.05. These are the results of the research: 1-There is no difference according to sex,field and experience of teachers. 2-The difference between the teachers who have an in-service training about guidance and the group who have not received is significant in favor of the first group.Also the difference between the teachers who have had the guidance lessons during university education and the others who have not had is significant in favor of the first group.Furthermore the difference between the teachers who regard the guidance lessons as beneficial for the students and the others who don't regard is significant in favor of the first group.
