The words added +IIk / +IUk in the Anatolian Turkish dictionaries

In the study of this higher licence thesis, which we named The Words Added+IIk / +IUk in the Dictionaries of Anatolian Turkish, it has been tried to be fixed theTurkey Turkish of the adjunct of +IIk / +IUk which is an functionary adjunct; itshistorical periods, on which structures, word types it can be added at the period ofOttoman Turkish and Old Anatolian Turkish, the meaning which it added on the wordsand the functions of it.It has been tried to show these use of this adjunct with the words added +IIk /+IUk searched from the general words in each three periods. Since in the period of OldAnatolian Turkish, there was not a distinct dictionary representing that period, thedictionary parts of monographic works of that period and Searching Dictionary wasmade use of.The study begins with the Entry part; this part consists of +IIk / +IUk addedwords in the period of Old Anatolian Turkish, +IIK / +IUK added words in the period ofOttoman Turkish Period and +IIk / +IUk added words in the period of Republic PeriodTurkish, and the result part.In the entry part, information about the importance of the adjuncts in wordderivation in Turkish, which is a patched language, subject of the study, its aim, thematerial and method used, was given.The adjunct structure was examined in regard of its coming on the word typesand of meaning-function in the parts of the period of Old Anatolian Turkish, +IIk /+lUk added words; in the period of Ottoman Turkish +llk / +lUk added words; in theperiod of Republic Period Turkish +llk / +lUk added words.In the part of structure examining, the adjunct was examined in regard of itscoming on the words of simple, derived and compound nouns and adapted words; in thepart of word types, the word types on which it can come, was listed.It is clear that the adjunct of +IIk /+IUk which derives abstract nouns much moreas well as deriving adjectives, nouns of tools and places by giving meaning ofrestriction to the added word in terms of meaning, has a very common usage area.In this study, the condition of +IIk / +IUk which is a productive one and hasenriched the word staff has been tried to be clear and the list of words which have beenderived through this adjunct has been made.Key words : The adjunct of +IIk / +IUk , productiveness, structure, types of words,meaning-usage.
