The ideology of the Anavatan Party

Results of studies on political parties, a more comprehensive definition and classification efforts, instead of political party?s classical definitions and classifications were entered into. In Turkey, ?catch-all party? definition is valid ANAP, in 1983 established to be party of four tendencies.The new right ideology, is accepted as the ideology of the ANAP, consist of the neo-liberalism in economic area and the neo-conservatism in political area. In the 20th Century, crisis, the world?s lived and solutions, against these crisis were produced is very important to understand the new right. It is natural that this crisis and the solution will benefit us to see only the economic dimension of the new right. To investigate neo-conservatist idea and to reveal what is it is important for the poitical transformation of the new right.In the West, Thatcher and Reagan implementing the new right?s representative in Turkey is ANAP. To understand economic and political performances of the ANAP that established in 1983 and effect's continuing until 2010, should be mentioned briefly economic and political past of the Turkey. From the Turkey's foundation to until 1980 tested variety economic and political models, but these models, even though solution to crisis, after a while another crisis has caused. In the structure created after September 12, 1980, the ANAP and Turgut Özal, the military regime and broad sections of society support of them, will stay in power for 6 years and will effort to apply the new right politics. In accordance with the new right-thinking, the ANAP has spent most of its energy for the economy and has left political order to The Military Regime. While ANAP in power, has shown great effort to maintain the stabilization package, implemented on January 24, 1980.
