Abstract (EN)
In the thesis, atmospheric pollen grains in Ankara and Istanbul provinces were examined. In the study, atmospheric pollen grains in both city were collected with a volumetric burkard trap for 11-month period between 01.01.2022 and 01.12.2022. Annual pollen integral of 36 taxa in Ankara atmosphere was found as 7717 (pollen/m3). The annual pollen integral of 36 taxa in the atmosphere of Istanbul was found to be 7615 (pollen/m3). While the dominant taxa in Ankara, are Cupressaceae/ Taxaceae, Pinaceae, Populus, Acer, Amaranthaceae, Poaceae, Urticaceae, Fraxinus, Platanus; it has been identified as Cupressaceae/ Taxaceae, Platanus, Urticaceae, Pinaceae, Quercus, Morus, Acer, Olea, Corylus and Poaceae in İstanbul. Pollen microphotographs of these taxa were taken. The correlation between meteorological data and daily pollen concentrations between the dates of the study was determined by Spearman correlation test. For the benefit of physicians and patients, an 11-month pollen calendar has been created for both provinces.
