Abstract (EN)
The main aim of this study is to examine the mediating role of life satisfaction, learned helplessness and gratitude on the relationship between maternal attachment and organizational commitment. The sample of the study consisted of 573 persons, with average age of 30.43. Experiences in Close Relationships Inventory-II, Learned Helplessness Scale, Life Satisfaction Scale, Gratitude Scale and Organizational Commitment Scale were used to collect data. Additionally Demographic Information Form has been used to obtain detailed information on the sample group. Obtained data is analyzed using SPSS 22.0 software. The scales used in the study were tested for reliability and factor analysis was conducted and regression analysis was used to test the validity and predictive power of the research model. In order to examine whether demographic factors constitute intergroup differences on dependent, independent and mediator variables t-test and ANOVA were used. The result of regression analyses showed that life satisfaction and gratitude have a partial mediator role in the relationship between maternal attachment and organizational commitment. It has been further concluded that learned helplessness has no mediator role in the relationship between maternal attachment and organizational commitment The findings of the study have been discussed in light of the literature on the subject and recommendations have been provided.
