Euhemeristic elements in Ancient Greek sources

Oral cultural tradition of ancient Greece and ali the works produced are essentially related to life-sustaining basis. This principal contains ali the conditions of the prehistoric period and is reflected back to us as a chaotic unity, just like the universal laws of physics. This is called the history. And when the works reflecting the historical processes are examined carefully, the comprehensive effects of the periodical conditions are encountered. So much so that the developments that took place in the prehistoric period not only affect the biological development processes of people, but also cause them to experience mental leap thresholds. Moreover, the ability to perceive abstractly, which is a result of the leap in question, leads people to form and organize many complex structures such as time, belief, morality. As a matter of fact, some developments during this period such as forced migration movements, tool making, domestication of fire, ete. have a decisive effect on human perception and belief system. In particular, the domestication of fire inereases the potential for abstract perception, possibly by triggering the development of the mental process due to the resulting extra time. While this situation manifests itself both in the formation of moral structures and in religious-cultural differentiation, it becomes deteetable only with the invention of writing. The heroic stories, cults or theological elements in the ancient Greek literary tradition are basically a reflection of psychogenetic memory, but in parallel with the development of the human mind, they begin to become the subject of different approaches at different times. At this point, it is important to concentrate on the claim of Euhemerus about the Greek pantheon that they were people who actually lived because of the possible connection that can be established between them and the prehistoric period. Yet identifying the Euhemeristic elements in the ancient Greek sources basically means following the prehistoric process of the human species. This study will focus on revealing its counterparts in ancient Greek literatüre and following the process of Euhemerus's theological approach to the present, by evaluating the factors that cause abstract perception from the period in question to Euhemerus.
