Abstract (EN)
This thesis examines the support and assistance of Western powers to the Zionist Organization by chronologically scrutinizing the foundation phases of the Jewish state initially established in the Middle East as well as the First Zionism Congress. In addition, the conflicts and the ongoing wars from1947 till 1973 shall be focused on. In relation to this perspective, fast growing and developing Arab nationalism will be explained. The main purpose of this thesis is to explain the conflictual Arab-Israeli relations due to the wars and to explore the foundations of the better relationship after a prolonged period of time through pro-western acts and shifts in the axis of Egypt in recent years with the Camp David Peace Treaty. Then, how Camp David has affected the Middle East and how significant changes such as "Arab Awakening" have had an effect on the Camp David Peace Process. However; only the effects of "Arab Awakening" on the Camp David Peace Process will be examined in this thesis as the issue of "Arab Awakening" should be examined thoroughly in an another research.
