Arkadaş Z. Özger life and his world of poetry

Arkadaş Z. Özger has written many poems in his short life and is a poet born again after his poems were published as a book after his death. He continued to draw attention after his death with his unique poetic style, unusual discourse and correlations he used in his poems. Although he continued to be talked about with his poetry and poems after his death, not much study has been done about this unique poet. Although there was no poetry book published by Arkadaş Z. Özger, whose poems were published in many magazines between the years of 1967-1973 of his life, these poems were compiled and published by different publishing houses after his death. In this study named "Arkadaş Z. Özger's Life and the His World of Poetry", the poems of the young poet were examined in a holistic structure and it was tried to touch on every important point that constitutes the poet's poetry universe. While determining these points, factors such as his interests and cultural background in his personal life, the poets who are the source of his poetry, his views on poetry and the understanding of art of the period he lived in were taken into account. Information about the poet's life is quite limited. For this reason, this information was collected by compiling the views of his close surroundings. Although the thematic analyzes of his poems were made text-oriented, the elements of his life that had an impact on his poems were given in a complementary integrity. While determining the referents of the texts, an analytical perspective was tried to be developed by making use of psychology, philosophy and sociology in order to penetrate deeply into the meaning areas. In terms of the general framework drawn, the poet's life and artistic understanding were examined and his place and important qualities in Turkish literature were tried to be determined.
