Generalized σ-derivations on Lie ideals of prime rings

This thesis mainly consists of five chapters. In the first chapter, the subject of the thesis is introduced and short information about the works regarding this subject is given. In the second chapter, the general background is given which may help to provide easy reading and understanding of the thesis. Moreover the summary of some works done on prime rings so far, frequently used notions and references are involved in this chapter. In the third chapter, M.C. Chou and C.K. Liu's work in 2006 is handled and σ-derivations with annihilating Engel conditions of prime rings are studied. In the fourth chapter, by considering J.C. Chang's work in 2011 which is related to generalized σ-derivations with power central values on Lie ideals of prime rings is handled. In the last chapter, V. De Filippis and Ç. Demir's work in 2015 which is related to generalized σ-derivations on Lie ideals of prime rings is examined.
