Abstract (EN)

Armenian question has been the issue that started in Ottoman era and its extensions going on today and the most engaging issue for Turkish foreign policy agenda. Armenians used terrorism to make this issue known by the world. By the attacks of terrorist organizations that they founded, i.e. mainly ASALA (The Armenian Secret Army for the Liberation of Armenia), they attracted the public?s attention in the world and they manipulated the issue in favor of themselves. The chain of events created the Armenian question that has the impacts until today.The Impacts of ASALA Terrorism on Turkish Foreign Policy have been analyzed in this thesis. To make the subject understood better, the process and the phases took place in this thesis from Ottoman Empire till today. These were researched that Armenian insurgencies after Ottoman?s losing strength and at the end of foreign countries provoking Ottoman Armenians, 1915 events, Armenian terrorist attacks after Turkish Republic was founded. Especially, Armenian propaganda and question that has been maintained for the last fifty years has been researched. The terrorist attacks due to make this question known by the world and ASALA, the symbol of this terrorism and its impacts on Turkish foreign policy are the crucial parts of this study.Key Words: ASALA, Armenian Question, Terror, Assassin, Foreign Policy
