Abstract (EN)
In this study, Red Pine [Pinus brutia Ten. subsp. brutia] tree species Max and Burkhart (1976) , Kozak (1988) and Jiang et al. (2005) by using the equations of body diameter equations were developed and success of these equations were compared. In the comparison with various statistical success criteria, Jiang et al. (2005) equation 95.95% of the model with the explanatory model of tree trunk diameter development No. 2 Jiang et al. (2005) the suitability of the equation to the pine trees in the study area was tested with an independent data group was found to be appropriate at p <0.05 significance level. In this study, Jiang et al. (2005) was found to be the most successful equation. In this respect, it can be said that it can provide more accurate and consistent taper estimations for our forestry for areas where red pine is distributed.
