Abstract (EN)

Atâullah Ağa, whose realname is Ata Reşit, is one of the renowned writers and poets from Kirkuk. Since his youth, he has been involved in writing and literature, expressing his thoughts through writing. After his death, he left behind a monumental work that serves as a source and testimony for many fields and research areas. While alive, he transcribed the poems of certain poets in handwritten form, and these manuscripts have survived until today. This study involves the transliteration into Latin letters of a poetry collection that demonstrates the biographical features of Atâullah Ağa, found in the personal library of the poet Nesrin ERBİL, who is the daughter of Atâullah Ağa. The term "mecmua," used in the dictionary sense as collected, accumulated, organized, and arranged things, allows for the presentation and exposure of all the poet's poems in one place. We have translated this work into sections, believing that it will be of great assistance to Old Turkish Literature. In our meticulous translation work, we paid great attention to details and footnotes, ensuring a comprehensive and thorough approach. The content of our study encompasses the pages 141-234 of the second volume of this work, which consists of four volumes and demonstrates the biographical features of a tezkire. Our study, according to MESTAP, comprises a content table, the life of Atâullah Ağa, the translatedtext section of the mecmua, and a table of contents for all the mecmuas. The table of contents section reveals which poets and their respective poems are included in the other four mecmuas as well. The inclusion of the names of all poets and their poems in the table of contents will also make a significant contribution to Turkish literature.
