Social change in Attila İlhan's novel series Aynanın İçindekiler

In this study, the phenomenon of social change in Turkey has been analyzed through the novels of Attila Ilhan; Dersaadet'te Sabah Ezanları, O Karanlıkta Biz, Yaraya Tuz Basmak, Bıçağın Ucu ve Sırtlan Payı in "Aynanın İçindekiler"series. Change is a phenomenon that every society faces. For this reason, it has become the main subject of sociology. Considering that novels carry traces from society, with the opportunities provided by literature sociology change in Turkey has been analyzed through novels. Ilhan is a writer, thinker and intellectual who is concerned about the events that took place during Turkey's modernization process. In his all and literary works, handling Turkey of the period, he shed light on the recent history of the period. In the novels of "Aynanın İçindekiler" series Ilhan discussed the events that took place between 1908 and 1960 and presented the reader with a social realistic vision the traces of social change. For this reason, Social Change emerged as a result of modernization has been tried to be explained through the novel and the characters of the novel.
