Regional development policies in the process of European Union and contributions of European Union grant projects

Nowadays, studies should be begun to minimize at the regional level for the purpose of the differences of the development level between countries. As a result of the effects of globalization rapid changes in the context of regional development gained importance in termos of economic and political power of the region. It is seen that social welfare, peace environment and economic development are directly affected as a result of the increase in the differences in development levels between regions and the superiority of one region compared to another region. The region development agencies took place central state responsibility for the development of region bu looking at the development from national window. These agencies are formed with the participation of private sector,regional and local organizations and non-governmental organizations within the scope of management approach. In Turkey, policy of regional development has been transformed in terms of aplication, management and content with the membership process to the European Union. After this transformation, regional development agencies started to be investigated intensively. The main objective of the stüdyo is examined the contributions of grant projects and evaluate this framework changes of regional development agencies Turkey status in Turkey.
