Abstract (EN)
Thescope of this study consists of figures in nineteen theterracotta, which were added to the Aydın Archaeological Museum collection through purchases, donations, grants and other means in a period between 2010 and 2019. Among the examples of the study subject; there are terracotta artifact sthat form a typologically rich repertoire. With in the scope of the study area, the spatialbond for terracotta figurines constitutes the Caria Region an the temporal limitation is Archaic, Classical, Hellenistic and Roman Imperial Period finds. Contrary to the coroplastic studies of the Carian cities, which are examined by reducing them to a single city due to the localization limitations of there searchers, the thes is is intended to contribute to the Karia coroplasty, which has not yet been considered as a result of a general evaluation of the figurines in the city center and its surroundings. The fact that the finds belonging to the an cientcities, which are not included in literature in the feld of coroplastic, will be examined, reveals the importance of the thes is study in terms of bringing the said works in to the literature of archeology.
