Abstract (EN)
Auditing is the process of reviewing an independent accountant's financial records and procedures in order to express the opinion of all important aspects of the fair presentation of the company's financial statements, in accordance with the financial reporting framework. One of the most important mechanisms that boards of directors use to ensure that companies are responsible to various investors and stakeholders is to make arrangements for auditing records and corporate performance indicators by external and professional auditors. Since the board bears the ultimate responsibility for ensuring the firm's legitimacy and integrity of public financial statements, the board should make arrangements and cooperate with independent auditors to improve reporting systems. In recent years, investors and professional organizations have generally agreed that the audit function should be performed by non-company affiliates and should be under the control of an audit committee, mostly with external managers. On some major exchanges (including the New York Stock Exchange, for example), it is a requirement for listing companies to have audit committees dominated by external directors. Therefore, they are very important for independent auditor companies. The basic ethical principles that apply to all services offered by professional accountants in independent auditing are as follows: Honesty, impartiality, professional competence and care, confidentiality, professional behavior. Independent audit requirements should be considered for non-audit assurance services in accordance with ethical rules. It should be decided whether any management responsibility that forms part of the non-assurance services provided has an impact on the subject matter of the assurance engagement. Within the framework of this approach, companies and assurance team members are responsible for determining and evaluating the conditions and relationships that pose threats to independence and, if necessary, to eliminate these threats or to reduce them to an acceptable level. Particular attention should also be given to the independence and appearance of the mind, in particular for the responsible party and the user. The purpose of this study is to examine ethical rules in assurance services for independent auditors.
