Abstract (EN)
NA7, NA8, NA9, NA12, E1, E2 ve E3 antimicrobial activities were evaluated against, Escherichia coli (ATCC 25922), Staphylococcus aureus (ATCC 25923), Pseudomonas aeruginosa (ATCC 27853), Enterococcus fecalis (ATCC 292112), Proteus vulgaris (ATCC 8427), Escherichia coli (ATCC 35218), Bacillus cereus (NRRL B-3711), Bacillus subtilis (ATCC 6633), Candida albicans, Candida tropicalis are the most sensitive bacteria to the phosphazenes. Their in vitro antituberculosis activity have been tested against INH-susceptible Mycobacterium tuberculosis H37Rv (ATCC 27294) and six multi-drug resistant clinical M. tuberculosis isolates. Among the synthesized compounds, NA7 was the most active agents against to susceptible the reference strain M. tuberculosis. While, compounds NA7, NA8, NA9 and NA12 were active against all the multidrug resistant clinical isolates at the highest concentrations. Gel electrophoresis results indicate that as the compounds bind to DNA, the most effective DNA-modifiers is NA12.
